Remotes and Receivers
What are Transmitters and Receivers?
Transmitters and receivers are key players in the automation of garage doors, gates, and alarm systems.
They use radio frequency (RF) communication, where a transmitter sends a signal to a compatible receiver, which then triggers an action like opening a gate or garage door.
Over time, these devices have added security features, like rolling codes that change with each use to prevent unauthorized access.
You can find a wide variety on the market, from universal receivers that work with most systems to models tailored for specific doors or gates.
For example, the DTS Universal Gate and Garage Door Opener Receiver can pair with multiple remote controls and supports up to three channels, making it versatile for both residential and commercial setups.
With tech advancements many transmitters and receivers now include smart features, allowing you to control your doors, gates, and alarms via smartphone, adding even more convenience and monitoring options.
